VariHite added to TeamMate Tutor and Podium

The popular TeamMate Tutor and TeamMate Podium now get full VariHite motorised lift and lower technology. Designed with the familiar TeamMate ideals, the VariHite element is based on the current TeamMate VariHite Lectern already in production, available either as an additional add on solution for the TeamMate Tutor, or as a fully integrated centre module as part of the TeamMate Podium.

The VariHite stage blends with the existing contemporary design of the Tutor and Podium units offering a fully DDA compliant motorised lift and lower system. The stylish shape of the work top offers plenty of space to accommodate laptops, books or written presentations. It will be available with a choice of Formica finishes and options to surface mount audio visual equipment such as control systems, preview monitors, microphones and desk top lighting.

The University of Bath are the first organisation to take delivery of the new TeamMate Tutor with VariHite Lectern, in a flagship lecture theatre as part of a complete refurbishment programme this past summer. The TeamMate Tutor houses all AV sources, switching and control processor whilst leaving the VariHite stage free for laptop placement and space for lecturers notes. AV Manager, Pete Clark Comments, "We have always been impressed with TeamMate, who have met our needs for the lecture space. "The VariHite lectern helps to improve user ergonomics and overcome many of the previous disability issues."
